As many of you may have heard, in the next few weeks, Coach Dan (Thurs. 5/2) and Coach Ashley (Fri. 5/17) will be coaching their last classes. They are both at times in their lives where this is best for them, their families, and their futures.
Coach Dan, Coach Ashley, and Coach Miranda all helped us open the CrossFit Reform doors in August of 2013. Their passion, care, and involvement has been pivotal to our growth, as well as an impactful foundation to our unparalleled community. CrossFit Reform would not be where it is today without them.
Although they may not be on the coaching schedule, they will still be a part of the Reform community, and working out alongside you. No need to worry, because you will still get to see their beautiful faces around, and they won’t have to stress on keeping you in line ;).
We will be having a celebration for the amazing efforts of Coach Dan, Ashley, and Miranda over the years. After the 9:30am class on Saturday, May 11th we will be heading over to Laguna Beach Beer Company to gather and enjoy our amazing community. We encourage everyone to attend that is able, and come out to share a drink and any fun memories. Coaches have a huge impact on members, but many forget that members also have a huge impact on coaches, and it would mean a lot to them for anyone attending.
Rest assured, these changes will not alter our values, vision, or direction in any way. We are fully committed to providing the best quality, care, and experience to our members and staff, and that shows no signs of slowing. This has helped us analyze and evaluate all areas where we can be even better, and we are very excited for our evolution.
It is immensely important to us to have knowledgeable, caring, and quality coaches, as well as provide career opportunities to keep them in the right roles. These openings will provide opportunities for our current and experienced staff, as opposed to filling gaps with limited experience and quality. We are prideful in what we have built and will not implement anyone we do not believe lives up to the standard we expect for our members.
